About Us

Our purpose is to help you wake up to your creative potential

We firmly believe that most of us and by inclination, most of our businesses, are operating sub-par when it comes to creativity.

This is not ok! Because there are so many problems to solve, the world needs us all to be operating with all the creative intelligence we can muster.

We've made it our mission to work with individuals and organisations offering courses, resources, training and consulting on developing creative thinking and a culture of innovation.

Our Founders

Nina Pearse

Nina Pearse

As co-founder of Creativity Wake-Up, Nina works with senior teams in high-stakes environments to sharpen critical and creative thinking, reduce cognitive drag and bring clarity and energy back into serious work.

With more than 20 years’ experience in leadership and change, including global roles at Deloitte and Dimension Data, and faculty work at GIBS, she blend behavioural science, neuroscience, business insight and practical facilitation to help organisations innovate faster, collaborate more effectively and use AI as a disciplined thinking partner.

Nina doesn’t believe creativity is something you “teach”. She believes it’s something you uncover. And when you do, confidence, courage and momentum follow.

Celia Falkenberg

Celia Falkenberg designs and facilitate programmes that build creative and critical thinking capability across industries. She was a professional architect, before moving into business education. Architecture is fundamentally a discipline of structured creativity: holding constraints and imagination in tension to solve problems that matter.

Celia is an adjunct faculty member at GIBS Business School and holds an Honours degree in Architecture from the University of Cape Town and a Master's degree in Housing and Urbanisation from the Architectural Association in London, graduated with distinction.

Celia believes creativity is a core business capability. One that can be developed, applied and directed at the hardest problems your organisation faces.
